PRAYER POINTS FOR THE 24/7 PRAYER CHAIN FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST & NIGERIA, NOV 15 – NOV 21, 2020

(A) PRAISE, WORSHIP & GIVE THANKS TO GOD for all you can remember              (B)  CONFESS ALL SINS ask for forgiveness; then truly REPENT i.e. Act, change your ways in line with God’s word; live in obedience

PREAMBLE….ONGOING SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Brethren, we have been addressing the forces outside the Church, that have been troubling our nation. In addition to this we need to address FACTORS WITHIN THE CHURCH, that have contributed to the situation. This is necessary, because God cannot move on the enemy without, with the Church the way it is presently. The Church comprises:

a) The Leadership in the Church – CAN, PFN, College of Bishops, General Overseers, etc. and the Pastors

b) The Followership – Ordinary church members, workers, deacons and church officials

c) The silent remnant company that have not allowed the light to die totally in the Church and over Nigeria carrying on for the main Church

PRAYER 1: O Lord, we come to acknowledge that in our midst, in our various church denominations, some of your ministers have departed from your Word, in teachings and actions, and have given Satan, Accuser of the brethren grounds to stand, and by that removed the legal basis for You to intervene in the affairs of our nation. We bring repentance on behalf of ourselves and these ministers, that you might grant us all the grace of repentance to the acknowledging of the truth 2Tim. 2:25 and a new heart of flesh Eze. 36:24-27, and by that clear the way for You to step into our nation’s affairs in the name of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER 2:   Our Father and God, for those who have become permanently compromised and lost but remain as deceivers, wolves and predators on your flock, we ask that you will move in swiftly according to Ezek. 34:1-20, to cause them to cease from feeding the flock and from feeding themselves; that You will deliver Your flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them and remove the preying shepherds, in the name of Jesus Name.

PRAYER 3:   O LORD God! As You said You would do in Malachi 3:1-5, come and sit as a refiner and purifier of silver and PURIFY THE SONS OF LEVI in our various church denominations AND PURGE THEM AS GOLD AND SILVER till they offer unto You, the LORD, OFFERING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS ONLY as from now on.     

PRAYER 4:  O LORD God we pray, as you did to Joshua the high priest in Zech. 3:1-7, please do to these our present day high priests in our various church denominations, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen! Again, our Lord, as You said in 1Samuel 2:35, come and raise up faithful priests that shall do according to that which is in your heart and mind, in our various church denominations as from now on, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

PRAYER 5: Father, we pray that you deliver now our various church denominations from the preaching of another gospel Gal. 1:6-8; the gospel of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord without true repentance, that has given birth to “born again” Christians who still live in sin as prevails across our various church denominations, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen! The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father of glory, give unto each and every genuinely born again Christian, across the various church denominations, the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, enlighten our eyes of understanding, that we may know the hope of your calling, the riches of the glory of your inheritance in us and the exceeding greatness of your power available to us, as much as that by which You raised Christ from the dead, in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen! Eph. 1:17-20.

PRAYER 6: Our Father, we pray for Your remnant company in this nation who have stood faithfully against the tide of error. Please empower them the more to take the baton to the finish line in the deliverance of the Church and Nigeria. According to Isaiah 52:8, cause them to see eye to eye the more as You deliver Zion. Give Your people a clearer understanding of Ps. 40:6-8 for everyone to have clarity concerning their assignments at this crucial stage and stay in their places as an army that doesn’t break ranks, in the name of Jesus Christ Name!

PRAYER 7:  Father, all across the land we ask that You please amplify the voices of righteousness, particularly among Your remnant; to bring Your Church to an understanding of the times and seasons; and according to Psalm 40:10, to become vessels that will not hide Your truth and Your righteousness, Your faithfulness and Your salvation from the great congregations until the tide of ungodliness is completely turned in the Church, in Jesus Christ’s Name! Amen!

PRAYER 8: Father, that at this crucial time that You are set to do a mighty work in our nation; please raise men of understanding according to Your will within the Church who will bring the major relevance of Your agenda in the new nation that You birthing, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Pray other prayers you are led or burdened to pray; including prayers that the recent protests will advance God’s purposes for Nigeria; prayers for release of Leah Sharibu and others; that the cup of the generations of the Amorites in our nation be full; for USA elections that only God’s choice of President shall emerge and God’s righteousness cover the earth, etc.
