Greetings to you in the name of Jesus the Man of War. 

These are very unusual days in the life of Nigeria; days like those in which the voice of the elder at the gate alerted the unfortunately oblivious delicate messiah in the palace: “thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). 

So much seems to depend on what the Church in Nigeria would do or fail to do now.  In the midst of the present tribulations and mounting rumours of possible worse, however, we have heard, as you too have, like Daniel, from the prophetic ‘books’ of ancient voices, that there is a window of time in the first quarter of 2018 to call penitently upon our God, for the Strong Hand of Divine intervention that the nation should thereafter see in about the middle of the year, or otherwise to prepare for a national Armageddon as countless recurrent revelations appear to warn.  We are glad that you stepped out with others to answer the call of the Trumpet. We are persuaded that God will be merciful and the enemy shall be forced out. Amen.

In the light of the call to a 21-day national repentance prayer and fasting Project from Monday, April 23 to Sunday, May 13, 2018, to which you have responded in the name of your group (and which we sense could become an annual national altar), we wish to both clarify the context of the Project and also provide an operational framework to guide activities during the period, especially towards enhancing unity in work and in spirit.  They are ‘draft guidelines,’ suggesting that the details of actual implementation might vary from group to group, or from city to city.

• This Project has been the outcome of a simultaneous stirring of spirits among intercessors and respected spiritual leaders in the nation, and of the felt need to harness the many spiritual energies arising disparately from the Church in response to the obvious urgent demands of the season.
• There is a sensing for the Church to mobilize prayers in the March-May season, for God’s merciful national visitation in the May-July season.  Project-21 represents an effort to take advantage of that time-gate (or window).
• For easier coordination, each participating intercessory group (with its many ministry sons and daughters and others in its network of influence), should take practical steps to advertise this Project in their state, city, church, fellowship, etc., by personal announcements or TV, radio, social media, etc.
• The fast shall be from 6.00am to 6.00pm (for those who choose to fast during the day), or 6.00pm to 6.00am (for those who choose the overnight fasting option).
• Each group should monitor and encourage the participation of its members especially in the hourly daily prayers between 11.00am and 2.00pm (for those who choose to fast in the day) or between 11.00pm and 2.00am (for those who choose the night fast).
• Nigerians in the diaspora, indeed the global Body of Christ, is kindly solicited to join hands with us in this Project.
• Each participating group is encouraged to hold a prayer vigil every Friday during the twenty-one days, or a weekly congregational one-hour prayer meeting on whichever day best serves the group.
• Campus groups are encouraged, through the JCCF, to ensure an hour of corporate prayers every day, done each day by an assigned large fellowship or by units of smaller fellowships put together for the purpose. This would be apart from the individual hourly prayers by those whose fellowships are not ‘on duty’ on the day.
• On the final Sunday, which is the twenty-first day of the fast, participating and facilitating ministries/fellowships/churches are encouraged to congregate massively with other Christians for corporate prayers, and thereafter close with a PASSOVER communion.  This may be done more robustly at the state level, city level, local government level, or even individual household levels.  Where it is not possible to so congregate, the respective groups or churches or ministries or households or individuals could conduct their own closing prayers and Passover communion.
• At the national level, there shall be a similar gathering from 6.00pm at the Ecumenical Christian Centre in Abuja, to be attended by the leaders of the respective facilitating intercessory and other groups, or their representatives.  The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has already approved the use of that venue for the purpose.
• We are persuaded that in the course of the 21-days, individuals and groups might receive messages from God, that they might wish to share with the rest of us.  Such updates could be sent through the Project email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. • The three major prayer themes of the Project, each assigned respectively to the three weeks, are:
  • WEEK 1: (Monday, April 23rd – Sunday, 29th): Repentance - many things to repent of: the compromise of the Church, bloodguilt, witchcraft, the spirit of modern Judases in the church, materialist seductions and Baalamic sellouts of the Church to beastly political interests, etc.
  • WEEK 2: (Monday, April 30th – Sunday, May 6th): Dealing with the atmosphere of sorcery over Nigeria: Islamic sorceries, blood sacrifices, marabouts, cults, fraternities, etc.
  • WEEK 3: (Monday, May 7th – Sunday, May 13th): Judgment (in the Sanctuary and in the rest of Nigeria), then deliverance unto Nigeria from all bondage

Prayer points for each week should be individually developed along the lines of that week’s prayer theme.
