In recognition of the various programs of interventions and support for persecuted Christians in northern Nigerian, the leadership of Northern CAN, after a meeting of all the CAN States Chairmen in the 19 states in the North and FCT, issued a letter of endorsement commending Lay Faithful Trust Foundation to Nigerian Christians.
The endorsement letter, which was signed by the Chairman of Northern CAN, Dr Yakubu Pam, and its General Secretary, Elder Sunday Oibe, appreciated Lay Faithful Trust Foundation for its Christlike response to the various afflictions Christians in northern Nigeria are going through.
The leadership of Northern CAN appealed to all Christians in Nigeria to support the minimum N500 monthly contribution to succour persecuted Christians. They reminded Christians that “If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it.” 1 Cor. 12: 26
