APPRECIATION
CSMN wishes to thank all the Christians donating funds to support persecuted Christians in Nigeria. God bless you and count it for you as righteousness.
SUPPORT FOR WIDOWS
In continuation of its advocacy to persecuted Christians, CSMN conducted another cash distribution exercise to widows in three IDP Camps in Lau, Taraba State. The IDP Camps are:
Lende Camp: 24 widows
Garinmallam Camp: 18 widows
Minda Camp: 31 widows
The sum of N3,000 was given to each of the 73 widows.
CSMN hopes that with more funds, regular monthly support shall be given to all the widows in the various IDP camps as well as the introduction of empowerment and rehabilitation programs.
SONS OF MARTYRS
CSMN also conducted a minor food support project at the Stephens Children Home, Abeokuta for the children of martyrs. Only the SSS3 and JSS3 students were in the school as most of the other students were yet to return from vacation.
LEGAL REPRESENTATION FOR ABDUCTED CHRISTIAN GIRL
At the instance of CSMN, the three men who conspired to abduct a 14 years old Christian girl in Kano and married her to a 60 years old man were arrested and are facing prosecution. After the arrest of the accused persons, the Muslims started harassing the father of the girl with lawsuit. The case was also taken up by the Legal Directorate of CSMN. Funds are regularly released to defend the rights of the father of the girl in court while the prosecution of the three accused men continues in another court.
MORE SUPPORT IS NEEDED
With the launching of the Lay Faithful Trust Fund, we hope to mobilize the critical funding that is required to FEED the persecuted Christians, EMPOWER and REHABILITATE them. Kindly share this information with all Christians within your sphere of influence. N500 monthly donation is required from individual Christians.
