ZONKWA, SOUTHERN KADUNA
RELIEF PROJECT TO CHRISTIAN WIDOWS AT MERCY IDP CAMP
Friday 16th April 2021
APPRECIATION
CSMN wishes to thank all the generous donors who contributed money to support persecuted Christians in Nigeria. God bless you and replenish your purse.
From the donations we have the following relief projects lined up for our brethren:
1. IDP widows’ relief in Southern Kaduna
2. Relief to IDPs in Benue State
3. Relief to IDPs in Maiduguri, Borno
4. Relief to IDPs in Southern Borno
On Friday 16th April 2021, CSMN ministered to 182 widows at Mercy IDP Camp, Zonkwa, Southern Kaduna. When asked what the widows required, the women asked for funds to purchase fertilizer as the farming season is about to commence.
The sum of N5,000 was given to each widow to assist them in purchasing fertilizer. Evidently, they would have to form groups to purchase a bag of fertilizer at N16,000 a bag and share. Regrettably, this is the most we can do for now.
“PRAY FOR US”
At a Christian Conference, a few days ago, a brother advised that what we call “persecution” of Christians is actually “genocide against Christians” in Nigeria. He is correct. The body of Christ in Nigeria is under genocidal attacks.
Unfortunately, as we strive to succor and mitigate the impact of the attacks on our surviving brethren, we face opposition and resistance from the most unexpected quarters. “Pray for us”, that God shall raise help and support for His wounded people and that we shall be shielded from Satan and his forces.
Please share this report and encourage Christian brethren within your sphere of influence, particularly in the Church, to contribute. We aim to strengthen, rehabilitate, resettle, and empower the afflicted Christians.
The Lord says, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:” Matt. 7: 12
