THANKSGIVING: Psa 111:1 “Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart”. Give God thanks and praise with your whole heart for His great goodness, love, and power towards us, towards the Church, and unto Nigeria; preserving, advancing, and propelling us towards our best and the new Nigeria.
REPENTANCE: Repent for all sins of you and your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to do better and to "turn from...wicked ways" that our land may be healed (2 Chron 7.14). Pray for a new era of sustained righteousness in your life, family, the Church and the nation
FOCUS OF THE WEEK: That God will make me, you…& Nigeria His great work (Psalm 111)
PRAYER POINTS:
Psa 111:4 “…the LORD is gracious and full of compassion” Thank our mighty God so much for how gracious and compassionate He has been towards us, our families, the Church and Nigeria. Humbly ask God to pour out yet a bit more, enough more to move you, your family, the Church and Nigeria from where we are to where we ought to be, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
Psa 111:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments: His praise endures forever” Plead with the Lord to work upon our hearts by His Spirit, that we shall truly fear and reverence and trust Him – so much that we shall flee from evil like Joseph, not just go to Church and honour Him with our lips.
Psa 111:7 “The works of His hands are verity and judgment…” Decree and dethrone every foundation and agents of falsehood and injustice in Nigeria. Like God called light out of darkness, call forth justice and truth; after that pray unto God to stretch forth His hand and establish truth and justice in Nigeria
Psa 111:6 “He has shown His people the power of His works, that He may give them the heritage of the heathen” Pray unto God in mercy to show believers and the world the power of His works by raising agents of transformation and helping them achieve holistic spiritual and material transformation in Nigeria as He helped Uzziah, David, Moses. Pray for God to give believers “the heritage of the heathen”, and enable believers convert the heathen unto Christ, no more heathen ransacking lands of believers
Psa 111:2,4 “The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein….He hath made His wonderful works to be remembered” Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, Esther…these can never be forgotten on earth. What God did in Egypt or at Jericho can never be forgotten on earth. Pray that God will (a) make YOU the next never to be forgotten by reason of a mighty use of YOU to advance His purposes in this nation and generation (b) make Nigeria a great work of redemption and transformation to be studied for all time

- Mat_21:44 “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder” Pray for the immediate release of Leah Sharibu and others held by abductors; decree that all spiritual forces and human structures keeping Leah Sharibu bound should collapse, leading to her freedom in a glorious testimony
