THANKSGIVING: 1Ch 16:29 “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name: bring an offering, and come before Him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” We are in the very last hours of 2021 and shall surely enter into Year 2022. Give God thanks and praise with your whole heart for His great goodness, love, and power towards us, towards the Church, and unto Nigeria; for all He has done through year 2021; and yet greater things ahead in 2022.
REPENTANCE: Ask God for pardon for all of your sins, those of your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to "turn from...wicked ways" and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron 7.14). Pray for a new era of sustained righteousness in your life, family, the Church and the nation
FOCUS OF THE WEEK: Appreciation to God; proclamations to shape 2022
PRAYER POINTS:
- APPRECIATION: Psm 107:1 “O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever”. Please just count the great things God has done in 2021 for you, your family, the Body of Christ and for Nigeria; name them one by one, and give Him thanks, praise and glory. For instance, in the first quarter of 2021, it seemed the country was finally set to tear apart (Igboho, Herdsmen, Bandits, serial abductions etc); a respected US institution said Nigeria has crossed the point of no return. God said NO in response to the feeble prayers of His little children. The nation and the Church are marching on, the gates of hell have not and shall never prevail. P-L-E-A-S-E, really thank God
- MERCY: Mar 10:47 “And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me”; and Rom_9:16 “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” Like blind Barthemeus, let’s cry to God for mercy for ourselves, the Church and Nigeria like we have no other opportunity ever again to obtain it
- PROCLAMMATIONS A: Mat_16:19 “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” and Jer 1:10 “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down to build, and to plant.” What do you not want to see anymore in your life, family, the Church and Nigeria? Name them, decree against them, bind and cast out the powers behind them, “throw down”. What do you want to see abound in 2022 in your life, family, the Church and Nigeria? Call them forth, build and plant
- Per Pstr Benny Hinn’s prophecy that in two years from 2019, God will begin to shatter the evil plans of Islam in Nigeria, proclaim that ALL that should be shattered in 2021 but are still standing, crumble, scatter, collapse NOW. The new Nigeria be fully and firmly entrenched.
- MATTERS ARISING: Pray for other matters arising in the nation e.g. the Electoral Act amendment, pray against accidents and mass deaths etc

- Mat_21:44 “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder” Pray for the immediate release of Leah Sharibu and others held by abductors; decree that all spiritual forces and human structures keeping Leah Sharibu bound should collapse, leading to her freedom in a glorious testimony
