APPRECIATION

We thank all the Christian brethren who contributed to bring relief and succour to Christians affected in the ongoing genocide by Islamic insurgents in Nigeria.

In particular, we thank the Ministry that donated N1 million to support this project. They wish to remain anonymous. May God reward them and all the donors openly.

AUGUST 2020 - REPORT OF HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS IN:

  • Kaala, Kajuru, Southern Kaduna
  • St. Louis Hospital, Zonkwa, Southern Kaduna
  • Salem Medical Center, for victims of Kukum Daji attacks, Southern Kaduna

KAALA, KAJURU, SOUTHERN KADUNA

On Sunday 16th August, Christian Social Movement of Nigeria conducted food distribution to about 400 families affected in the attacks of Fulani Militia on the Christian community in Kaala, Southern Kaduna.

The project was supervised by Pastor Tony of Harvesters Ministry, Pastor Jamilu, and Pastor Akuru.

Food items distributed include rice, beans, groundnut oil, Maggie, and palm oil. It is hoped that with availability of funds, the food distribution can become regular while more IDP camps can be covered.

The sum of N700,000 was released for this food relief.

MEDICAL BILL

In the wake of attacks on Southern Kaduna, a number of the injured brethren had difficulty in paying hospital bills. From the funds donated by Christians, CSMN assisted with payment of N338,440 at St. Louis Hospital, Zonkwa, Zango Kataf, Southern Kaduna. Donation was made on 13th August, 2020.

In addition, CSMN also paid N200,000 at Salem Medical Center for victims in Kukum Daji, Kaura, Southern Kaduna. Donation on 14th August, 2020.

APPEAL FOR MORE SUPPORT

Recently, CSMN launched the LAY FAITHFUL TRUST FUND to mobilize funds for Christian advocacies and interventions. Under the program, Christians are required to contribute minimum N500 monthly to support persecuted Christians as well as build structures to promote and protect Christianity in Nigeria.

While it is good to pray and fast, meaningful steps are required to stop the ongoing genocide. "Faith without works is dead."
Please, contribute and encourage other Christians within your sphere of influence to also contribute. N500 a month will not affect commitment to local assembly and Denomination. We need to mobilize all the Christians to participate.
Contribution can be made monthly, quarterly or annually. You can give more, as God enables you.

TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY

CSMN is transparent and accountable for all funds donated to it. Please visit https://csmnigeria.org/statement-of-account to see our monthly Statement of Account.
