(NOTE: When you finish reading the article by the Preacher, read the incident in 2018 that confirms the apprehension. It is below.)

The Spirit of Sudan

Early in September 2011, while fasting and praying for the national prayer retreat of The Preacher scheduled for later that month, the word of the Lord came to me, “Pray against the Spirit of Sudan.” South Sudan had become independent from the oppressive Islamic north only a few weeks earlier, on July 9.  I understood the word to mean that the Satanic principality that had sponsored Sudan’s very oppressive anti-Christ Islamic regime, and sustained twenty cruel years of a most ravaging civil war between the Christian south and the Islamized north, having lost that territory, was seeking another abode, in Nigeria.  I took it as a personal prayer point even though, later, I had to send out sms’s to a few friends.  The message as I understood it seemed well explained by Luke 11:24-26, especially the first half of verse 24:

24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man[a territory, Sudan], he walketh through dry places, seeking rest ; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

A few years ago, the Messenger delivered a prophecy that God has  pronounced upon Nigeria a 7 year season of Judgment from 2011 - 2018. (We carried this story in the 2012 edition of KARIS Christian Magazine.)

According to that prophecy, the season of judgment is supposed to end this year. It's therefore not surprising that God by His Spirit is moving us to embark on 21 days National Repentance in 2018 from Monday Apr23 to Sunday May13.

As God did in the days of Daniel, on the 70th year of the  captivity, Daniel started praying for God's restoration.  He did not pray before the 70 years were accomplished.

In like manner, we are in a season of Divine Visitation as we embark on these 21 days prayers for repentance. We must do everything possible to ensure that the 7 years do not increase by one day. While in Egypt, the Israelites increased a sojourn of 400 years to 430 years.

Daniel 9:1-end; Leviticus 26:14-45; Psalm 24: 3-4; 139: 23-24; 19: 12-14

Let us repent accordingly in the following order.

  1. Repent of Personal Sins including ministerial sins,
  • All forms of unforgiveness, including bearing of grudges, woundedness
  • All forms of envy, including ministerial competition
  • All forms of offenses
  • All forms of pride,
  • All forms of laziness, particularly ministerial indolence
  • All forms of falsehood, lying, hypocrisy, deceit, craftiness, etc
  • All forms of greed, stealing and cheating,
  • All forms of gossip and slander
  • All forms of idolatry, including hero worship
  • Self-promotion and seeking the praise of men,
  • All forms of rebellion, including disobedience, not submitting to one’s spouse
  • unrighteous parenting,
  • All forms of unfaithfulness, betrayals, unfulfilled promises, etc. giving unrighteous counsel,
  • selfish ambition
  • Bias: Tribalism, sectionalism, denominationalism, favoritism, tribalism, all forms of discrimination,
  • Any action, words or deeds that have contributed to the sinful state of the nation.

This revelation came so strong about what is going to happen in Nigeria very soon.
In this revelation, I saw and heard a voice that was raised from the South to shout. The voice was like that of a woman.

The sound of the voice was very loud and it covered the entire nation.
It was declaring the victory of God over the forces of evil.
Then I saw and heard another voice that was raised from the North almost simultaneously with the sound from the South.
The second voice sounded like a male voice. It was the sound praise to the name of God almighty the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
Suddenly, I saw an Angel assigned from heaven and sent specifically to Nigeria. He held a long whip in his right hand. He landed in Nigeria from the North, and started walking across the nation with the long whip in his right hand. He was furious. He did not look sideways but focused on his assignment. Nothing could stop him as he walked across the nation.
I just received this revelation now and I felt it is necessary to share it with everyone in Nigeria.
There are three sides to this revelation.
The first part is the hope that Nigeria has especially for those who are calling on the name of the Lord and for those whose blood is crying before the Lord. They will hear the sound of Joy and true justice will prevail.
This has already began in the spirit realm.

The second part of this revelation is the judgment of God that will start from the North across the nation for all workers of evil.
Those who devise evil, those who oppress the poor, those who destroy lives that they cannot create. God has stepped in because the cry of the innocent souls and the oppressed have reached Him in heaven.

The third side is the weapon that God has given to his people to fight this battle. The weapons of our warfare are not canal but mighty through God to the pulling down of Strongholds.

What should we do?

I am at the tail end of my trip from Frankfurt to Chicago en route from a Mission Trip to Kaduna State Nigeria. I slept and I had a dream that troubled me greatly. I saw that people of faith in a major State in the South Western portion of Nigeria had to flee their homes at a moment notice. They could not take a thing with them because the State was appropriating their property and their very lives were in danger if they did not leave. In that dream, good-hearted women were leading people through secret channels to safety. Those that had cars could not drive them.

I  do not know how to respond. Please pray for Nigeria. Please encourage the brethren not to be careless about this oncoming election. It may define the future of the nation. Do imagine if these were to come true in South Western Nigeria, what will be happening in the Middle Belt and the Christian North?

Beloved as we prepare for PROJECT 21, the 21 Days Period of United Prayer for the Church and the Nation that starts April 23 and ends May 13, let us prepare ourselves so that our prayers may be heard.

And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you. (Josh.3:5)

As we prepare for United Intercession through prayers and fasting, let us focus at the beginning of the fast on the issue of Personal Sanctification.

With the Lord most times, the critical issue is not what we are praying or how long we are praying, but who is praying?

Let us focus on all our personal gates and ask the Lord to cleanse us from any and every defilement.

Let us ask for sanctification through:

“ Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.” Hosea 6: 1-2

The three major prayer themes of the Project, each assigned respectively to the three weeks, are:

WEEK 1: (Monday, April 23rd – Sunday, 29th): REPENTANCE – This should commence with personal repentance. “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; …” Ps. 24: 3-4. Each participant should cry to God, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me and know my thoughts: …” Ps. 139: 23 – 24. In addition to personal repentance, there are many things to repent of: the compromise of the Church, bloodguilt, witchcraft, the spirit of modern Judases in the church, materialistic seductions and Baalamic sellouts of the Church to beastly political interests, immoralities, covetousness, vanity, greed, pride and arrogance, hero worship, divisions, disunity, tribalism, abandonment of soul winning, abandoning Missionaries and laborers, lack of empathy for persecuted Christians, sale of titles and ordination, worldliness, carnality, lies, doctrinal errors, etc.

Greetings to you in the name of Jesus the Man of War.

These are very unusual days in the life of Nigeria; days like those in which the voice of the elder at the gate alerted the unfortunately oblivious delicate messiah in the palace: “thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14).

So much seems to depend on what the Church in Nigeria would do or fail to do now.  In the midst of the present tribulations and mounting rumours of possible worse, however, we have heard, as you too have, like Daniel, from the prophetic ‘books’ of ancient voices, that there is a window of time in the first quarter of 2018 to call penitently upon our God, for the Strong Hand of Divine intervention that the nation should thereafter see in about the middle of the year, or otherwise to prepare for a national Armageddon as countless recurrent revelations appear to warn.  We are glad that you stepped out with others to answer the call of the Trumpet. We are persuaded that God will be merciful and the enemy shall be forced out. Amen.

We bring you greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We thank God that the leadership of the Church sees the need for us to fast and pray at this time. We must maximize this God given opportunity by praying aright.
To be effective in our intercession, let me offer some suggestions.
a) UNDERSTANDING THE ISSUES:
Mankind has entered the final phase of prophetic activities that would end this age and ultimately decide the destiny of nations.
From the beginning of creation, God ordained that the three sons of Noah that covenanted with Him to restart a new order after the flood would play a role in the salvation of mankind and restoration of God’s plan.
The Shemites (Israel) were called to lay the foundations and provide the patterns.
Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen (Rom.9:4).
The Japhetities (Europeans) were called to play an Evangelical role in the afternoon of the Church Age to publish the good news of Salvation to the Nations. That has explained the emergence of nations like Uk, USA and others that have been strong missionary nations.
The Hamites (Africans) are called to finish the work and perfect the Bride of Christ. It has always been clear through prophecy and the writings of the Fathers that this call on Africa must be championed by Nigeria. This assignment from heaven is Nigeria’s redemptive calling and purpose.
Because of this call on the nation, Nigeria will be the stage for the conflict of thrones. All anti-Christ forces galvanized by Islam will desire to be established in Nigeria to prevent the nation from fulfilling this mandate.
To have a holistic picture, we must see events unfolding in our nation from the lens of this broader unfolding end-time agenda of God.
With the passing of Billy Graham, the signpost of the Evangelical period of the Gospel dispensation, the Lord is saying clearly that the Season of Africa has fully come and Nigeria must now lead Africa’s liberation.
Nigeria is presently travailing to give birth to the purposes of God and the greatest need of the nation now is for skillful midwives that will deliver the seed of God without choking the precious seed.
