THANKSGIVING: Psa_134:1 “Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.” God’s abiding goodness to us, our families and our nation has been immeasurable. Please praise God as you can; bless His holy name.
REPENTANCE: Ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, those of your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to "turn from...wicked ways" and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron 7.14). Pray for a new era of sustained righteousness in your life, family, the Church and the nation
FOCUS OF THE WEEK: That the Refiner and Master Builder will refine and build His own in Nigeria
PRAYER POINTS:
- Mal 3:3“And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi.” It is obvious that we are not able of our own to meet and maintain the righteous standards of God. Pray that God comes and sits as a refiner and purifier of silver over the Church in Nigeria
- Mal 3:3“…purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.” In ways that only you can, purge both leaders and followers in the Body of Christ, and grant us grace to serve God in holiness, consistent obedience, and reverential fear
- Zec 3:1-2 “And He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee” Pray for all believers who have become bound in sin and perverse ways, that God will help them rebuke the devil and rescue them.
- Zec 3:3-4“Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And He answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him He said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment…. thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day” Pray earnestly that God, in His mercy and not because we deserve anything, shall remove the iniquity of leaders and followers the Church in Nigeria in a swift, decisive and comprehensive way
- Zec 3:8“Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows” Pray that leaders and followers in the Body of Christ who have become hard of hearing shall have their ears and hearts opened and shall hear and heed the Lord again. Pray that God shall take out hearts that have become stony and give hearts of flesh
- Zec 3:4-5“…and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head” Pray that God will restore consecration, firm commitment to divine purpose and not human agenda, dignity and divine impact to the Church in Nigeria
- MATTERS ARISING IN THE NATION: Pray for other matters arising in the nation as you have observed and/or as the Spirit of God leads you

- Mat_21:44 “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder” Pray that Leah Sharibu shall BY NO MEANS remain in captivity for another year, likewise others held by abductors; decree that all spiritual forces and human structures keeping Leah Sharibu bound should collapse, leading to her freedom in a glorious testimony
