PRAYER POINTS FOR THE 24/7 PRAYER CHAIN FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST & NIGERIA, June 5-11, 2022
THANKSGIVING: Count your blessings and the blessings of Nigeria; then thank God with all your heart
REPENTANCE: Also, ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, those of your family, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to "turn from...wicked ways" and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron. 7.14). Seek God’s help for sustained righteousness in the land.
FOCUS OF THE WEEK: Setting captives free: Kaduna Train Attack abductees, Leah Sharibu et al
PREAMBLE: In Gen. 14:12-20, when Abraham got news of the capture of his nephew, Lot, he armed his trained servants and pursued the captors, and with the empowerment of God, overcame them and rescued Lot safe and complete. This is what we are just about to do, this time for Leah Sharibu and others abducted by evil men. So we are going to train and arm ourselves and begin to smite the captors, till they are released safe and complete. In Luke 11:21-22, it is made clear that the captives of the STRONG MAN, remain in bondage ONLY so long as the STRONGER MAN, has not come on the scene. You and I are the STRONGER MAN, as people raised up with Christ and seated in Christ in the 3rd heavens at the right hand of God. We have authority far above all principalities and powers, who are limited to the 2nd heavens below us (Eph. 2:4-6, 1:19-21). Let see ourselves this way, declare it and act it, that as children of God, living Christ-like lives, we are stronger than all principalities and powers that have anything to do with the capture and continued detention of Leah and others. We are going to come upon them and in the name of Jesus Christ, overcome them and divide their spoil, and release the captives from their hold.
PRAYER POINTS:
PRAYERS TO DEAL WITH P1 - PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS
1. Thank God and praise Him for His protection over Leah and others that has kept them alive till date
2. Daniel 10:12-13, makes us to know that there are principalities over geographical territories. There are satanic as well as divine ones. They push the agenda of the kingdom they represent, concerning the geographical territory they are assigned to. There is a satanic principality over Nigeria, that is involved in these abductions and their continued captivity. Using the authority of our higher position in the 3rd heaven, as in Eph. 1:19-21, now come upon them, overcome them, and take away their arms. then bind, paralyse, incapacitate and spoil them in all their operations in Leah Sharibu’s case and others in similar situation.
3. Come against the principality behind the religion of the sons of the bond woman in similar manner as has been done to the satanic prince over Nigeria.
4. Three others to be similarly addressed are – the mistress of witchcraft that sells nations through her whoredoms and families through her witchcraft Nahum 3:4, the prince of the power of the air that works in the children of disobedience Eph. 2:2; and the mystery of iniquity that is already at work 2Thess. 2:7.
5. Eph. 1:19-21 says God has made available to us His exceeding great power which he exercised in raising Christ from the dead. Brethren, bring that power of God to scatter and destroy all structures, systems and networks that has to do with Leah and others still remaining in captivity.
6. Let us now do same to the works, structures and systems of each of the principalities we have descended upon, to bind, paralyze and incapacitate.
7. Psalm 103:20 makes it clear that the angels of God that excel in strength, hearken unto the voice of His word. Let us give voice to relevant Words of God so angels shall be activated as they hearken unto the words of God on this matter. Let us ask the angel that God sent that slew 185,000 Assyrians in one night, as God rose in defense of Judah, should go and do similar assault in the various camps of all that have to do with the captivity of Leah Sharibu and other children of God and innocent Nigerians, till they release them safely.

As the party primaries advance, partner with God to enthrone His choice of leader by decreeing that all evil and incapable candidates be blocked, overturned, cut off and God’s choice alone be enthroned over Nigeria.
