PRAYER POINTS FOR THE 24x7 PRAYER CHAIN FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST & NIGERIA, Nov 27 – Dec 3, 2022
THANKSGIVING & WORSHIP: Psm_89:5 “And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints” The God we serve is true and faithful. He spoke by Pa S G Elton that Nigeria shall have an era of stinking corruption. It has been so. He also said, an era of glorious and globally attractive righteousness shall follow. Now He has announced readiness to unveil that part. IT IS A NEW DAWN, saya the Lord through Prophet Tomi Arayomi and others. It remains for us to build on and fully establish this. We have much cause to praise God Almighty for His love, mercy and faithfulness towards us. Let us do so heartily. Give God thanks, praise and glory for all He has done for you, your family, the Church and Nigeria.
REPENTANCE: Also, ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, your family’s, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to turn and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron. 7.14).
FOCUS: NIGERIA’S “NEW DAWN” – This is the 9th week of Nigeria’s year from Oct-1; and 9th seasons in the Bible (9th days, weeks, years etc are typical seasons of decisive shifts; and lasting, profound changes. Let’s pray for such.

PRAYER POINTS
- Act 9:1,3: “And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord....And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven” Pray that as Saul was struck and arrested and subject in authority to the will of Christ in Acts 9, this 9th week of Nigeria’s year, let all persecutors of the Church and troublers of Nigeria be arrested unto salvation or unto destruction as the Lord knows is best for each
- Est 9:1“Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)” Pray that like in Esther 9, this 9th week of Nigeria’s year, the evil plots and schemes of the enemies of the gospel and of believers will come on their own heads; and God’s people will experience a mighty deliverance that will be lasting and memorable
- Jdg 9:53-57“And a certain woman cast a piece of a millstone upon Abimelech's head, and all to brake his skull. Then he called hastily unto the young man his armourbearer, and said unto him, Draw thy sword, and slay me, that men say not of me, A woman slew him. And his young man thrust him through, and he died.....Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren: And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads” As in Judges 9, God avenged and ended the wickedness of Abimelech who killed his own brothers, pray that this 9th week God shall decisively avenge and terminate the wickedness of every “Abimelech” in Nigeria at both federal and state levels who have schemed and slain their fellow Nigerians
- As in the 9th book of the Bible, David emerged and the glorious dynasty that paved way for the Messiah was established, pray that this 9th week, the Davids that God has prepared should emerge and the reign that should pave way for the kingdom of God and His righteousness be established
- As in Genesis 9, God made an eternal covenant with the remnant of humanity and the new world, pray that this 9th week, an eternal covenant will be established with the Church in Nigeria; and even individual believers will make renewed commitment unto God and enter into firm covenant walk with God
- Proclaim and sweep away everything that sustained the fulfillment of the first part of Pa Elton’s prophecy (the era of domestically crippling and globally stinking corruption); and call forth the factors that will make for the fulfillment of the 2nd part of Pa S G Elton’s prophecy, the era of globally attractive righteousness
- Pray other prayers for current national issues as your have observed or are burdened to pray. Pray also for the ongoing political transition process that there be no hijack, and the next leader shall be of God.
- SPECIAL PRAYER: Lord have mercy on Leah Sharibu and all others abducted and still in the hands of their captors. Stretch forth Your hand and set free. (d) Defend Your children from Jihad in S/Kaduna, Jos and other Christian territories (c.) Have mercy on IDPs and enable them return to their homes.
