THANKSGIVING & WORSHIP: Psa 67:3-4 “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth” IT IS A NEW DAWN, Nigeria. Besides the many things that God has done for us, as we praise God, He judges and governs the nations righteously. Let us praise God heartily. Give God thanks, praise and glory for all He has done for you, your family, the Church and Nigeria….& for all the He is set to do still.
REPENTANCE: Also, ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, your family’s, the Church and Nigeria; pray for grace to turn and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron. 7.14).
FOCUS: NIGERIA’S “NEW DAWN” – Let the Day of the Lord Come NOW !!! (Malachi 4)

PRAYER POINTS
- Mal 4:1“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch”
- Pray that the Day of the Lord come in Nigeria, and that it tarry no more
- “Let God arise and all His enemies be scattered” _ Psalm 68.1 Pray that the Day of the Lord come speedily when “all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble”
- Pray that the proud and the wicked be left with no fruits, roots or branch in Nigeria
- Mal 4:3“And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts”
- Pray that God will empower His own in Nigeria to “tread down the wicked” that “they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet”
- Pray for grace for sustained dominion, that the righteous shall no longer be subject to the whims and caprices of the unGodly anymore in Nigeria
- Mal 4:2 “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall”
- Pray that God will not mark iniquity, will have pity as father pities his children, and will in mercy arise over you, your family, the Church, and over Nigeria with healing in His wings
- Pray that in mercy, you, your family, the Church, and Nigeria “shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall” and be showpieces of God’s goodness, mercy and power. By this “the gentiles shall come to thy light and kings to the brightness of thy rising” (Isaiah 60.1-3)
- Mal 4:4“Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments”
- Holy Spirit, please work mightily in us both to will and to do to God’s good pleasure
- Holy Spirit, help us both to establish and to keep covenant with God Almighty, individually and corporately as the Church and as a nation
- Mal 4:5“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse”
- Pray that God in mercy will send us Elijahs, to frontally confront the evil forces seeking to imprison the society to the devil, make an open show of them, demonstrate the victory which Christ has since won, and cause both the agents and the society to hold firmly that “Eli Jah: the Lord He is God”
- Pray other prayers for current national issues as your have observed or are burdened to pray. Pray also for the ongoing political transition process that there be no hijack, and the next leader shall be of God.
- SPECIAL PRAYER: Lord have mercy on Leah Sharibu and all others abducted and still in the hands of their captors. Stretch forth Your hand and set free. (d) Defend Your children from Jihad in S/Kaduna, Jos and other Christian territories (c.) Have mercy on IDPs and enable them return to their homes.
