THANKSGIVING & WORSHIP: 1Sa 2:2 “There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God” Nothing that can compare with Jehovah. We are trusting God for a dream-state turnaround in the polity; to have God’s choice and the people’s mandate restored. God is faithful and NEVER will fail. Let’s still lavishly praise the Lord. Join the heavens to declare His glory. God’s people shall yet be victorious,
REPENTANCE: Let us truly repent and ask God for mercy and forgiveness for all of your sins, and the sins of your family, the Church and Nigeria, and for the contributions of Christians to the woes that believers and Nigeria are now facing by ignoring prophetic warnings. Pray for God’s grace to turn and live in obedience; that our land may be healed (2 Chron. 7.14)
FOCUS: Let God Thunder (I Sam 2.10)
PRAYER POINTS :
1Sa 2:3 “Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed” Regarding the political leadership of Nigeria, pray that as God did for Hannah and Peninnah, God will give His lowly and humble children in Nigeria cause to rejoice and the boastful and proud reason to shut their mouths forever and step aside.
1Sa 2:4 “The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.... so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble” Pray that God will cripple and retire the politicians and their business, religious and foreign allies who have kept Nigeria crippled and prostrate for over 60 years; and that God by His own hand will raise a replacement class
1Sa 2:6 “The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up” Pray that everyone across Nigeria shall be saved; but IF there be any that need to be cleared out physically or politically for Nigeria to move forward, let the Lord sweep them out. Ask God to release His evacuation and sanitation angels to sanitize Nigeria’s political landscape.
1Sa 2:8 “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them” Prophesy that the pillars of the earth in the hands of the Lord be shaken to quake off all self-serving leaders that have not and/or cannot bring glory to God; then like David and Moses from the backside of the desert, let a new breed of humble, people-serving leaders that will honour God “inherit the throne of glory”
1Sa 2:9-10 “He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed” (a) Pray that the adversaries of the Lord in Nigeria be broken in a manner that the whole world will know it is the Lords’s doing (b) Pray that God will give all manner of needed strength to His own chosen king over Nigeria and exalt the horn of His anointed (c.) pray that spiritually, politically, financially, comprehensively, God will strengthen His children in Nigeria
Pro_21:1 “The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it wheresoever He will” (a) Pray that the hearts of all judges in the election petition Tribunals and the Supreme court will flow in the precise direction of God’s choice. Plead and cover the judges with the blood of Jesus Christ and immunize them from satanic manipulation (b) As prince Charles is coronated king in Britain, he shall do God’s good pleasure not his own imaginations or the agenda of humanists and globalists.
Pray other prayers for current national issues as you have observed or are burdened to pray.
- SPECIAL PRAYERS: Pro_29:2“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice” (a) God delivered Israel from Pharaoh about this time of year; same for Esther/Mordecai and the Jews; same for Peter at Easter (Acts 12). Pray that will do it again in Nigeria (b) That through the courts or by any means God chooses in His sovereignty, God will reverse and restore every stolen political mandate and establish the true choice of Nigerians (c) Lord have mercy on Leah Sharibu and all others abducted and still in the hands of their captors. Please raise political leaders that will set them free. (d) Defend Your children from Jihad in S/Kaduna, Jos and other Christian territories (e.) Have mercy on IDPs and enable them return to their homes.
