PRAYER POINTS FOR THE 24/7 PRAYER CHAIN FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST & NIGERIA, Mar 7 - 21, 2021
March is a unique Season of the Passover: The Christian Community worldwide celebrates the Statute that opens the seven Gates of Grace. This Season in contemporary Church Record and Tradition is called the LENTEN Season; marked by a forty days exercise of Fasting and Prayers as we remember and celebrate the Passover of the Lord Jesus, as “the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World”, (John 1 v 29, 36). Therefore, as we remember, it is a time to purge ourselves from the ‘leaven of Sin’ in its different forms and to remember God’s Sovereign Mercy over us. As He performed it in Egypt, He sets Himself and His heavenly Army on the ground, to free the Land from the Bondage of the Oppressors, both within and the confederacies external; to cover the sins of the founding fathers of Nigeria and the Remnants, the Israel of God in Nigeria, who He has preserved to destroy the altars of Baal (the Constitutions of Slavery) that have hindered deliverance since 1804 and 1914; to bring fourth His Judgments and Justice into the Land (the wilderness of preparation) for Nigeria’s journey into the Father’s prophetic Agenda for the end-time Revival of Africa and the Nations; and the LORD God brings forth the Warrior and Judge, (His Samuel) and the David of His own dream for the end-time Harvest and for the fulfillment of His prophetic dream for the people of Nigeria.
PRAYER POINTS: THANKING THE LORD FOR THE COVENANT & FOR THE PASSOVER SEASON
i. Thanking the Lord for the Season of His sovereign Mercy operating at God’s given time. His Mercy is His expression of the Sacrifice of Calvary- Psalm 32.
ii. Thanking the Lord for the Lord’s forgiveness and Mercy shown to the Remnants who have waited on Him- Psalm 130 v 1-8.
iii. Thanking the Lord for his Covenant that does not fail; his Justice and Judgment that is operating in the Land- Psalm 89 v 14.
iv. Let us thank the Lord for His Mercy over his enemies in Nigeria; particularly for those he has reserved unto Salvation (Exodus 33 v 19, Matthew 5 v 43-48, Romans 9 v 1- 18).
v. Let us thank the Lord for the day of the destruction of Egypt in Nigeria has come: the day of the death of the ‘first Borns’ of Egypt; of the removal of the sceptre of their rulership; the day of the overthrow of their dominion has arrived: The night of the Lord’s visit to Egypt of Nigeria is now (Exodus 11 v 3-6; Ex 12 .29-30).
vi. Thank the Lord for His sovereign design for Nigeria’s deliverance from the Pharaohs of Nigeria; from their armies; and from their economic power by which they have enslaved the people of God’s covenant (Gen 15 v 13-21, Ex 4 v 23; & Ex. 11 v3-8.
THANKING THE LORD FOR THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, THE BLOOD OF OUR VICTORY OVER THE THRONE OF SATAN:
i. Let us rejoice for the blood of the Lamb over Nigeria and for the power of His covenant over Nigeria.
ii. Let us rejoice in the Lord for His prophetic mandate over Nigeria.
iii. Let us rejoice for this Passover 2021, by faith for His divine visitation to His enemies; the enemies of His divine mandate to Nigeria (Luke 19 v 42-44, Isaiah 29 v 1-15, Ezekiel 26 v 1- 21).
OTHER PRAYERS:
- That the food boycott from the North will help all parts of Nigeria achieve their best and dormant potentials
- That no meaningless demands for ransom or “compensation” that can encourage banditry will be paid
- That by the power of the Almighty, Leah Sharibu, Alice Ngadah, and all kidnapped by herdsmen/bandits shall be released; and that this widespread insecurity and degenerate state of affairs shall end
- That the Church, especially in the South, will wake up and utilize the opportunity offered by massive immigration of unbelievers to evangelize them, so what the enemy meant for evil will produce glory to God
