PRAYER POINTS FOR THE 24/7 PRAYER CHAIN FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST & NIGERIA, Mar 14 - 20, 2021
March is a unique Season of the Passover: The Christian Community worldwide celebrates the Statute that opens the seven Gates of Grace. This Season in contemporary Church Record and Tradition is called the LENTEN Season; marked by a forty days exercise of Fasting and Prayers as we remember and celebrate the Passover of the Lord Jesus, as “the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World”, (John 1 v 29, 36). Therefore, as we remember, it is a time to purge ourselves from the ‘leaven of Sin’ in its different forms and to remember God’s Sovereign Mercy over us. As He performed it in Egypt, He sets Himself and His heavenly Army on the ground, to free the Land from the Bondage of the Oppressors, both within and the confederacies external; to cover the sins of the founding fathers of Nigeria and the Remnants, the Israel of God in Nigeria, who He has preserved to destroy the altars of Baal (the Constitutions of Slavery) that have hindered deliverance since 1804 and 1914. He is also bringing forth His Judgments and Justice into the Land (the wilderness of preparation) for Nigeria’s journey into the Father’s prophetic Agenda for the end-time Revival of Africa and the Nations; and raising suitable leaders for the end-time Harvest and for the fulfillment of His prophetic dream for the people of Nigeria.
PRAYER POINTS:
THANKING THE LORD FOR CHASTISEMENT UPON THE SHEPHERD; FOR VISITING HIS SHEEP & FOR RESETTLING AND HEALING THEM:
- Let us thank the lord for the season of the chastisement of the false Shepherds has come (Psalm 78 v 42-56, Ezekiel 34 v 9-10.
- Let us thank the Lord for seeking out His sheep that have been bruised
- Let us thank the Lord for bringing healing to His own
- Let us thank the Lord for restoring them to the place of green pastures (Ezekiel 34 v 11-22, Isaiah 40 v 11, Jeremiah 31 v 9-10, Luke 19 v 10
THANKING THE LORD THAT MEN WILL SEEK HIS MERCY:
- Let us thank the Lord that men will tremble before Him.
- Let us thank the Lord that men will seek Him
- Let us thank the Lord that His fear will draw men unto Him as we seek His righteousness and His peace (Isaiah 9 v 1-8, Isaiah 53 v 1- 12, Isaiah 66 v 1-9)
THANKING THE LORD FOR THE BIRTH OF THE REVIVAL THAT ACCOMPANIES THE NEW NATION OF GOD’S PROPHETIC MANDATE:
- Let us thank the Lord for the nation of His Dream and of His Love
- Let us thank the Lord for Nigeria’s fore-ordained stewardship to the Nations of the World by the manifold wisdom and mercy of God (Isaiah 10 v 20-34; 26 v 1- 14; 11 v 2; 66 v 10-24; Luke 2 v 11)
OTHER PRAYERS:
- Thank God by faith that Nigeria shall never disintegrate against God’s will and plan
- Thank God that no intimidation or harassment will cause darkness to overcome light in Nigeria; and that the gates of hell shall never prevail. Pray for speedy release of the students abducted in Kaduna; as well as others long in custody like Leah Sharibu and Alice Ngadah.
- Pray that God will stir the leaders and members of the Church in Nigeria, just as Prophet Gad guided David, to bring Him acceptable repentance and do anything else necessary to stop and reverse any political or other plague that has befallen the nation on account of the sins of God’s children (2 Sam 24.18-25)
- By the power and authority vested in you, come against all evil altars and powers behind serial kidnapping of students. Decree that any persons in high positions colluding with bandits shall be exposed and disgraced, and that the degenerating insecurity in the nation be halted NOW
- Pa Elton prophesied that an era of righteousness shall follow the era of corruption and global reproach. Cindy Jacobs prophesied that Nigeria shall be one of the world’s most peaceful nations. Stand on these and war a good warfare for fulfillment.
